Carlos is upset by a comment that Garnica makes about María Clara. Helena tells Carlos that she is expecting a child from him. The doctor does not react in the best way and she lets him know that she is going to carry her baby. Dr. Prieto communicates with Gloria and tells her that she is sad because she thought that Pérez was going to have another reaction. Carlos tells Álvaro that Helena is pregnant. So, he advises her to tell María Clara. Pérez has every intention of telling María Clara the truth, but he does not do so and tells her that he spoke with his father about lending him some houses to house the medical staff.
