As Maria clings to life, Evandro travels to Paraguay with the aim of brokering peace with Navarro and reconnecting with his family. Helena has her camera stolen in Rio de Janeiro, no small matter as it directly threatens Evandro's ruse. Morello, meanwhile, sees Helena as the key to capturing Evandro.
